March saw the first meeting of our Investment Sub Committee, which is responsible for monitoring ORUK’s growing portfolio of early stage MSK businesses and shaping our MSK investment strategy. The charity is  especially pleased to welcome Dr Khatereh Ahmadi, Mr Khaled Sara and Omar Butt, who join existing board members Sarah Harkness and Jenny Chong in forming this important Committee.
ORUK is the first MSK charity to actively support start-ups and entrepreneurs. It supports entrepreneurially-minded Early Career Researchers with funding, education, mentoring and networking support to accelerate the translation of their research ideas into new products or services.
