Royal Academy of Engineering launches accelerator

The Shott Scale Up Accelerator equips founders and senior leaders of high-growth engineering and technology SMEs with the leadership skills, insights and networks they need to drive the next stage of growth of their deep tech organisation. 

The Royal Academy of Engineering has supported over 200 senior leaders since 2017 to drive growth, creating over 1,200 additional jobs and over £2 billion in follow-funding. 

The accelerator offers: 

• Tailored growth training, leadership coaching and business mentoring alongside a cohort of 15 deep tech leader peers 
• £10,000 grant to pay for leadership courses worldwide 
• Connection to our unrivalled network of experts, Academy Fellows, investors, corporates and alumni 
• Lifetime support including exclusive events and co-working spaces across the country. 

Applications are open from now until 18 May 2026.
